OthrWorld Queer Pride Showcase
The frequency on the block is about to hit an entirely different dimension. This June, for the Capitol Hill Art Walk, we are hosting something incredibly close to my heart. Cherub the Multitude and over 25 phenomenal queer artists are banning together to completely take up space in the art world, to explore deepest humanity, and to do our absolute part in keeping queer culture alive, thriving, and loud.

This isn't just another dope art walk event—it is a sacred, intentional moment in time. OthrWorld is a collective manifestation where we get to celebrate the sheer creativity, magic, and genius of queer folx through the raw artistic process. For far too long, these brilliant energies have been pushed to the margins of our creative spaces. This Thursday, we are bringing them right to the center, right where they belong at Eleven Eleven (1512 11th Ave). This is your official invitation to step into an otherworldly sanctuary where you can get completely weird, stay endlessly authentic, and be absolutely fabulous.
We aren’t just looking at frames on a wall; we are immersing ourselves in an entire universe of diverse talent. Come out early to explore the incredible visual art on display, and make sure you stay for an unbelievable lineup of live performances that will feed your soul from start to finish. We've curated a celestial journey for you throughout the evening:
6:30 PM | Sound Healing: Ground your energy, clear your mind, and activate your peace with a cosmic sound bath experience featuring the incredible Angeliisoul.
7:00 PM | Poetic Musings: Dive deep into words, truths, and vulnerable expression with powerful spoken word and poetry performances featuring Ro'se Conejo, Emeke Nkandi, Lyssa Bastet, and Dez'Mon Omega Faire.
8:00 PM | Mystical Music: Let the rhythms take over your spirit with live musical performances featuring the brilliant sounds of Supasweet Tea and Jonesboiy Littlebear.
8:30 PM | Visual Transmission: Experience fashion and visual storytelling elevated to the highest level, showcasing the groundbreaking work of Moda Decoy and St.Phan.
8:45 PM | Funny Time: Bring some pure joy and laughter to your night with live comedy featuring the hilarious Jaleesa Johnson.
9:00 PM | Dancey Time: We are closing out the night under the cosmic disco ball with an epic DJ set by [BRICKTHEDOLL] to release, move, and celebrate our collective existence together.
But the experience doesn't stop with the stage. We are blessed to have @beamorganix in the building selling tarot readings and sacred spiritual goods to keep your alignment sharp and your spirit grounded. Plus, the brilliant creators at @halogenproject will be offering their custom affirmation portraits for sale.
Because of the high-vibrational, celestial energy we are calling into the room, our dress theme for the night is "Alien Superstar." Pull up looking cute, looking celestial, and looking unapologetically like royalty. Don’t just view the art—I want you to show up, show out, and become the art with us.
