Alter Sense® represents the inner knowing and sense of certainty a person has about pursuing their passion. We never know how we know, but we just know. We all embark on our own unique paths and celebrate this journey through how we express ourselves. About the Founder:

Ty was born and raised in Detroit and found a passion for art and creativity early in life. “I used to get in trouble a lot for drawing in class,” he reflects. His godfather enrolled him in art classes at the local college where he learned fine arts: sketching, charcoal and comic book making. He found himself featured in local papers for his art and was often tapped for designing event flyers at his school.

I’m a huge fan of the fantasy genre, and thankfully encouraged throughout my life to stay creative,” he reflects. Channeling his creativity to streetwear seemed a natural progression for him from digital art to fashion, “I love fashion and eventually only want to wear my own clothes.”
