Seattle Hip Hop Incubates at “Make a wish” [SLIDESHOW]
On Friday, March 20th, 2026, Seattle Hip Hop mobilized for “Make a Wish” at Eleven:Eleven. This function, originally designed as a birthday bash for Isaak “Xahil Xahid” Estolas and Desso - two up-and-coming emcees in OTB Music, turned out tremendous support and raised almost $500 for the movement. The line-up featured performances by Lady P, Wish Baby, Desso, Joy, Finian Cycle, Meez, MDMLondon, YK, and more.
Xahil Xahid’s set was a dynamic and energetic performance that previewed a PLETHORA of styles from the young artist, showcasing a rare and promising versatility and commitment to the craft of emceeing. Friday’s event was both the first time he’s ideated, curated, promoted, and executed, as well as his first time performing a full set.
Headliner Lady P shared, “I brought YK and MDMLondon to share my set and hear some of the younger artists coming out of The Study and On the Block, it was dope!” Finian Cycle, who opened up the evening added, “I experienced genuine euphoria watching people I love and care about shine bright into the universe.”
DJ El Grande, who support the soundscapes and live engineering for the event said, “The night was a quick friday night glimpse of what support looks like in the immediate community Eleven:Eleven serves. Pure example of the faces that make the block”
“I’m looking forward to the possibilities of what’s to come,” shared Xahil Xahid, who is already making plans for the next installation of the series, “I’m imagining, with the help of the power of the collective and influence in the culture, bigger names, bigger shows, bigger results!”
