Carolyn Hitt: The Emergent Works of Social Practice

Gallery Hours: 10-6pm Monday - Friday

It only makes sense that the debut exhibit On the Walls are the works of Carolyn Hitt, co-founder and GM of Eleven:Eleven. However if you’re expecting to see the same thing twice, think again.

Since Eleven:Eleven’s soft-opening at Artwalk, December of 2025, Gallery Hitt continues to evolve- expanding, contracting, and emerging in new bursts of functional fine-art and collaboration.

Expect new works and rotating installations monthly- each opening slated for the second Thursday of each for Capitol Hill Artwalk

Carolyn Hitt is a mixed-media, multi-disciplined, abstract/graphic expressionist with an emphasis on murals, fabrication, functional art and installation work.  As founder of Blue Cone Studios (est.2015) and Co-Founder of Forever Safe Spaces, On the Block Seattle and Eleven:Eleven, her creative work is directly linked to the social practice of seeking out, holding space, mentoring and supporting emerging artists from underserved communities.

When she’s not building physical spaces for gathering/creating, she is looking to produce custom installations and connect with individuals, organizations, and institutions looking for creative solutions to community engagement.
